Tim Shorr, Professional Voice-Over Talent, voices new radio commercials
If the name sounds familiar, then perhaps you heard Tim on the radio. Tim began his career as a DJ on AM Radio. Then, he was promoted to FM Radio. Tim worked as a Newscaster at 88.9 FM KXLU in Los Angeles, CA for 5 years. He was the morning drive-time and evening drive-time newscaster.
During college, Tim also worked as an intern / news staff writer at KHJ Channel 9 TV. KHJ is now known as KCAL TV in Los Angeles, CA. Tim is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Arts.
After college, he launched into cable television as a Sportscaster and Director on Channel 43, in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. All throughout high school and college, Tim worked at Shorr Agency Insurance. He continues to operate Shorr Agency as the President of the Company to this day.
The Shorr Agency Radio Ads ran on 95.5 FM KLOS and 790 AM KABC in Los Angeles. On both 95.5 FM and 790 KABC, you could hear them either on-the-air and via streaming. All of our KLOS and KABC commercials are :30 in length. Listen below....
