When you've got roadside assistance coverage on your Nationwide auto insurance policy, you don't need to worry if you get stranded on the road. You're covered in any car – whether it's insured on your policy or not.

Nationwide Insurance roadside assistance covers people, not cars. Every relative that lives with you* is covered, no matter what they're driving – and even when they're not driving. If a covered member of your household is a passenger in someone else's car, they can still use the Nationwide roadside assistance benefit.

We offer two tiers of Roadside Assistance:

Basic Plan:

• Towing up to 15 miles 
• Unlimited service calls 
• 24 hour service
• Fuel delivery  
• Lockout coverage up to $100 in the event that:  
•      You lose your ignition key or fob
•      Your key breaks off in the ignition, door or trunk
•      When you’ve locked your keys in your car
• Jump starts for a dead battery
• Replace a flat tire with your spare
• Ditch Extraction Service

Plus Plan:

All the services above, plus:

• Car towing service up to 100 miles.
• Trip interruption coverage that will reimburse your expenses up to $500 for alternate transportation, lodging and meals when you're stranded 100 or more miles from home.  Expenses covered up to 72 hours from time of disablement and shall not exceed $100/day for meals and lodging.

*Excluded drivers are not covered.
